Short version: Curix collects no personal data whatsoever. Your preferences and favourites are stored only on your own device. We have no servers storing user data, no analytics, and no advertising trackers.

1. Who we are

Curix is a mobile application published by billig.ch, operated from Switzerland. Contact: privacy@billig.ch

2. What data we collect

None.

Curix does not collect, process, store, or transmit any personal data. The app does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other identifying information.

3. Local storage on your device

Curix stores the following data locally on your device only, using React Native's AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device:

You can delete all of this data at any time by uninstalling the app from your device.

4. Third-party APIs

When you use Curix with an active internet connection, the app makes outbound HTTP requests to fetch exchange rate data:

These requests contain only standard HTTP headers (your IP address may be logged by those third-party servers per their own privacy policies). We do not control those services and encourage you to review their respective policies if you are concerned.

5. Analytics and advertising

Curix contains no analytics trackers, no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting services, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not use Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any equivalent service.

6. Permissions

Curix does not request any device permissions (camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, etc.). The only system capability used is network access for fetching exchange rates, and local storage for persisting your settings.

7. Children's privacy

Curix does not collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (COPPA) or 16 (GDPR). As no personal data is collected at all, there is nothing to restrict or delete with respect to minors.

8. GDPR (European Union)

Because Curix does not collect, process, or store any personal data, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 obligations regarding data collection and consent do not apply. There is no data to request access to, no data to erase, and no consent to withdraw.

If you have a GDPR-related enquiry, please contact privacy@billig.ch.

9. nDSG / revDSG (Switzerland)

As no personal data is collected or processed by Curix, the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG / nDSG) in force since September 2023 imposes no additional obligations on this application.

10. Data retention

We retain no user data because we collect none. Any locally stored app data (cached rates, preferences) is controlled entirely by you and is deleted when you uninstall Curix.

11. Security

All API requests made by Curix use HTTPS (TLS). Because no personal data is transmitted, there is no user data at risk of exposure.

12. Changes to this policy

If we ever change our data practices, this page will be updated with a new "Last updated" date and, where required by law, we will notify users through the App Store / Google Play release notes.
