support@billig.chOpen the Convert tab. Tap the left dropdown to choose your source currency, the right dropdown for the target, then type an amount using the numpad. The converted result updates instantly below. Tap ⇄ to swap the two currencies.
The row of buttons labelled +10, +50, +100, +500, and +1000 quickly add that amount to whatever you've already typed. Useful for quickly jumping to a round number like 500 or 1000 without retyping.
On the Convert screen, tap the heart icon (♡) in the top-right corner while your desired pair is selected. The pair is saved to the Favourites tab. To remove it, open Favourites, swipe the row or tap the red trash icon.
Fiat currency rates (USD, EUR, CHF, etc.) are sourced from the Open Exchange Rates public API. Gold (XAU) and silver (XAG) prices per troy ounce come from the @fawazahmed0/currency-api dataset, served via jsDelivr CDN with a secondary fallback mirror.
Curix automatically fetches fresh rates every 30 minutes in the background. You can also tap Refresh Now in the Settings tab to force an immediate update. The timestamp shown on the Convert and Settings screens always tells you exactly how old the current data is.
Go to Settings → Refresh Now. Make sure you have an active internet connection. If the rates still don't update, force-quit the app and reopen it. If the problem persists, contact us at support@billig.ch.
Gold (XAU) is quoted per troy ounce, which is approximately 31.1 grams. At current market prices, 1 troy ounce of gold is worth roughly $4,000–5,000 USD. So converting 1 XAU → USD will show that large number — that is correct.
The Stats screen displays a price chart for your currently selected pair. Choose a period (1D, 7D, 1M, 6M, 1Y, or 5Y) from the toggle above the chart. The High, Current, and Low cards beneath show the range for that period.
Press and drag your finger left or right anywhere on the chart area. A vertical dashed line will follow your touch, with a dot on the price curve and a tooltip showing the rate and how long ago that point was. The large rate in the hero card updates live as you scrub. Lift your finger — the crosshair fades out after 1.4 seconds.
Controls the thousands separator used throughout the app:
When enabled, the app produces a subtle vibration each time you press a numpad key. If you find it distracting, toggle it off in Settings → Haptic Feedback.
When enabled (default), rates are refreshed automatically every 30 minutes in the background when you have an internet connection. Disable this if you want to conserve data and refresh manually.
No. Curix collects zero personal data. Your favourites and settings are stored exclusively on your device using local storage (AsyncStorage). Nothing is uploaded to any server. See our full Privacy Policy.
Simply uninstall Curix from your device. All locally stored data (favourites, settings, cached rates) is removed when the app is deleted. There is nothing stored on external servers to delete.
Force-quit the app and reopen it. If the problem continues, uninstall and reinstall from the App Store or Google Play. Your favourites will be reset, but everything else will be fetched fresh on first launch.
We currently support 60+ fiat currencies and precious metals. If a currency you need is not listed, please email us at support@billig.ch with the currency name and ISO code and we will consider adding it in the next update.
Precious metal prices can move quickly. Tap Settings → Refresh Now to fetch the latest data. If the rate still looks significantly off compared to a reliable source, please email us with details.
